ToggleWHAT HAPPENED?
Nkunku, who joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig in the summer, has managed to appear in just five matches for the club thus far as he spent the majority of the season on the sidelines, first due to a knee injury and then for a hip problem. He finally returned to action against Liverpool in the club's last match and scored the team's solitary goal in their 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Reds.
English winger Raheem Sterling was excited to welcome back the French star as he felt that they could form a good partnership upfront now that he has finally regained his full fitness.
